Support
Called Back to the Well is funded by program and retreat fees, donations and a grant from the Lilly Endowment for Sustaining Pastoral Excellence. Your contributions to Called Back to the Well help support our scholarship program and expand offerings to clergy and lay leaders, church and denominational staff, and clergy families.
Please consider making a personal or congregational gift/multi-year pledge to Called Back to the Well—your investment in this program has a direct and long-lasting influence on pastors, church leaders, congregations and the communities that they serve.
Your gift helps us to offer reasonably priced Programs/Retreats for clergy and lay leaders. For example:
- participants pay $300 for a four-day retreat (actual cost $530)
- participants pay $300 for a nine-month prayer/support group (actual cost $530)
- participants pay $30 for a Sabbath Day (actual cost $200)
Honor a Servant Leader
Servant leadership may grow out of a calling to help those in need, to live out one’s faith in day-to-day work, or to mentor and influence others to a life of leadership focused on outcomes that are above and beyond one’s own self-interest.
Through Called Back to the Well, you can honor a servant leader and that individual will receive a letter acknowledging that a gift has been made to recognize their work as a servant leader. In the case of a memorial gift in honor of a servant leader, an acknowledgement will be sent to the family or other individual as per your direction. Servant leader gifts made to Called Back to the Well are also listed in Samaritan Counseling Center’s annual report and may be recognized at the annual Called Back to the Well Servant Leadership Breakfast.
