How to Become a Wise Couple

Step 1: Complete the Prepare-Enrich Inventory
Once you have been identified as a potential Wise Couple, we will ask you and your spouse to complete the Prepare-Enrich inventory (available at no cost to you), which will help you and your spouse explore your relationship strengths and growth areas.

The Prepare-Enrich inventory must be completed prior to attending the Wise Couple training.

Step 2: Review Your Results
Healthy Marriages has a responsibility to maintain quality services for couples. Therefore, once you take the inventory, one of our staff members will review and discuss your relationship strength and growth areas with you and your spouse. If it appears there are significant growth areas in

your relationship, we will provide training and support to help strengthen and enhance your relationship before you begin working with other couples.

Step 3: Complete the Wise Couple Training
If you and your spouse are selected as a Wise Couple, Healthy Marriages will provide an extensive 12-hour training on how to administer and interpret the Prepare-Enrich inventory. Additional training will cover other essential topics, including group facilitation and mentoring skills.

Upon the completion of this training, you will feel comfortable and ready to begin your work as a Wise Couple! Don’t forget: Healthy Marriages offers ongoing support to you and your spouse, should any questions come up along the way.
