While most of Samaritan's work takes place behind the closed doors of confidential counseling offices, the Center does sponsor a few very public events each year to serve the community, offer training to professionals, and generate awareness and support for Samaritan's mission. Events sponsored by the Samaritan Counseling Center in the months ahead include:
- New Mexico Ethics in Business Awards dinner - Annual recognition of businesses, organizations and individuals whose present and past work represent the highest ethical practice in New Mexico.
- Silent Samaritans luncheon - An annual event to raise funds for the Good Samaritan Fund to help women and children receive counseling services.
- Training for professionals--Continuing education events for mental health professionals and pastoral leaders.
- Called Back to the Well--Retreats and prayer/support groups for pastoral leaders in the Southwest U.S.
- Healthy Marriages events for couples--Relationship skills training and couple support groups in various locations throughout central New Mexico
- Workplace Services events--Educational events for supervisors to foster healtheir workplaces and employees
